Announcing suspension of activities, the  Omo-Agege Campaign, in subsequent press statement, said the boat capsize, which claimed lives and got many missing and injured, was ”a tragedy too many.”

According to reports, the boat was travelling along the Gbaramatu-Warri River on its return from campaign in Okerenkoko and Ugborodo communities in Warri South Local Government Area when the tragedy occurred.
