The Chief of Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal I O Amao, has sent a four-member delegation, led by Wing Commander Bassey Okon, to understudy the Joint Information Activities Group (JIAG) at the Royal Air Force Base, Halton in United Kingdom.

This is in line with the CAS’ vision on joint  collaboration as JIAG is a joint training school for the Army, Navy, Air Force and MOD Information staff.

The Station Commander, JIAG, Group Captain Dan Startup, on Wednesday December 8, 2021, invited Wing Commander Okon together with Squadron Leader Ijeoma to dinner as the delegation carried out the study tour. The station commander’s invitation, Prime Business Africa learnt, was a mark of courtesy to witness the graduation ceremony of the Royal Air Force trainees at the TAF Base, Halton.

The Nigeria Air Force Team is expected to return and develop the Nigerian Air Force Public Relations and Information School to international standards.
