The Nigerian stock market rebounded with a N827.29 billion gain on Thursday, as the bourse’s market capitalisation increased to N158.27 trillion.
Nigerian Exchange’s (NGX) market capitalisation increased from the N157.45 trillion recorded on Wednesday, after the all-share index (ASI) expanded by 406.51 basis points.
The index expanded from 244,802.83 ASI to 245,209.34 ASI.

Top Five Gainers
- Eterna’s share price increased by N3.30 kobo, from N33 to N36.30 kobo per share.
- Ava Capital share value grew by N1.05 kobo, from N10.90 kobo to N11.95 kobo per share.
- Legend Internet’s share appreciated by N0.40 kobo to end trading at N4.60 kobo, having opened with N4.20 kobo.
- FCMB’s share ended trading at N12.70 kobo per share, from N11.70 kobo per share – indicating an increase of N1.
- Honeywell Flour share value was up by N1.30 kobo, after closing at N17.60 kobo, from N16.30 kobo per share.

- Fortis Global Insurance’s share price depreciated by N0.28 kobo, dwindling from N2.80 kobo to N2.52 kobo per share.
- Ecobank recorded an N8 decline in its share price to end trading at N72.10 kobo, after opening with N80.10 kobo.
- Chellaram reported a N1.30 kobo decline in its share price to end trading at N11.90 kobo, after opening with N13.20 kobo per share.
- Thomas Wyatt lost N0.35 kobo in its share price, to sell at N3.21 kobo, down from N3.56 kobo per share.
- UPDC reported a decline of N0.30 kobo, from the previous share price of N3.55 kobo, to end trading at N3.25 kobo per share.

- First HoldCo recorded 43.44 million shares valued at N5.95 billion.
