There’s no better way to end the year than an amazing album from the soundgod, Runtown. Arguably one of the most anticipated bodies of work in Nigeria, Runtown takes his listeners on a journey while still maintaining the originality of his sound.

This solo project album has no features with an excellent track-list arrangement. Looking for a quality, melodious body of work to vibe to this weekend? Then check out this 13-track album.

Zinoleesky – Personal:

Talented Nigerian singer and songwriter, Zinoleesky returns with his highly anticipated new song, Personal, from his upcoming EP. Zinoleesky talks about his struggles with life, success, and family with well-articulated lines.

He also sings about how he longs to become self-sufficient, and the constant backing he gets from God. This is so different from regular Zino, but I’m here for all of that.

Simi – Christmas Sometin:

The Nigerian extraordinary artist, Simi is at it again with yet another incredible melody, which she called ‘Christmas Sometin’. The new entry “Christmas Sometin,” a tune produced by Blaise Beats, was released before Simi’s TBH acoustic album (Acoustic).

This well-articulated song, with incredible melody and beautiful lyrics, is shown to set you in the festive season. It’s an incredible listen and I strongly recommend it.

Naira Marley – Girls Just Wanna Have Funds:

Marlian Music CEO, Naira Marley, Nigerian music phenomenon and songwriter, highlights another thrilling song called “Girls Just Wanna Have Funds.” The song serves as his latest entry this year following his previously released songs.
Girls Just Wanna Have Funds is a must-listen-to soundtrack, which has a fusion of Amapiano and Hip Hop genres.

Victor AD – Dangerous:

Victor AD is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and performing artist who has gained popularity with his unique blend of Afro-fusion and Afrobeat sounds. “Dangerous” showcases a different side of his artistry. While many of his previous songs have been upbeat and energetic, “Dangerous” is a more introspective and contemplative track. In it, Victor AD reflects on the girl of his dreams and how she seems to elude him, causing him emotional turmoil.

Masterkraft & Tekno – 10 Sure Oddz:

Nigerian producer and hitmaker, Masterkraft, and singer-songwriter Tekno released a new song titled “10 Sure ODDS”. The song was produced by Masterkraft. In the song, Masterkraft and Tekno simply narrate how they staked 10 sure odds with a betting company and eventually won.

“10 Sure ODDZ” is Masterkraft’s second official record for the year while he prepares his sophomore album, which drops next year.
