Mount’s time at the Stamford Bridge seemingly would take further hit with the July 1 arrival of Christopher Nkunku.

Chelsea are reportedly set to release a lot of first team players from their expensive contracts while the loan deal of Joao Felix who was hirthero expected to stay beyond his season-long loan deal will not come to fruition.

Meanwhile Chelsea have rejected outright a £30m bid from Brighton and Hoves Albion to sign Levi Colwill permanently.

Chelsea, according to reports making the rounds in the media, consider the youngster a part of the club’s future and therefore not for sale.

The Premier League transfer window will officially open on June 14 in England and close on September 1.

Chelsea are expected to let go of players like Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang, Christian Pulisoc, Conor Gallagher, Ruben Loftus Cheek, Marc Cucurella, Matteo Kovacic and the aforementioned Mount this summer.

Chelsea have spent in excess of over 6 billion pounds since the acquisition of the club by Todd Boehly after Roman Abrahamovic sold the club.
