In a move strengthening ties between France and Nigeria, Minister Olivier Becht inaugurated the “Food for Nations” agri-food platform on Friday.

“This collaboration marks an exciting milestone,” Becht stated, emphasizing the platform’s role in fostering bilateral trade and cooperation.

“France recognizes the promising opportunities in partnering with Nigeria,” the statement highlighted, underscoring Nigeria’s vast underutilized arable land and its appeal to both local and foreign investors.

Becht, expressing gratitude for Nigerian entrepreneurs, highlighted thel role of JR Farms’ CEO in energizing the agribusiness relationship between the two nations.

During the inauguration, Minister Becht explored various agri-food products presented by Nigerian producers, showcasing the richness and quality of the Nigerian agri-food landscape.
