The Federal High Court sitting in the Abuja Judicial Division has unequivocally ruled that Senator Andy Uba’s declaration of himself as the standard bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is null and void.

Uba has vehemently opposed the result of the November 6 gubernatorial election in Anambra State which Professor Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) won but his efforts at upturning the outcome seems to have come to a dead end.

In his ruling, Honourable Justice Inyang Ekwo of the Federal High Court in Abuja while delivering his verdict on an application filed by Dr George Moghalu, a governorship aspirant of the APC challenging the candidacy of Senator Andy Uba stated that the APC had no governorship candidate.

Consequently, Justice Inyang Ekwo in his ruling disqualified Senator Andy Uba as the Candidate of APC in the November election.

Furthermore the Court also ruled that APC should refund Dr George Moghalu his Nomination and Express of Interest form fees.
