Addressing the underlying issue that triggered the suspension, Keyamo acknowledged the financial constraints faced by Emirates due to unpaid funds from ticket sales as reported by Prime Busines Africa.

He underscored the collaborative efforts between Nigeria and Emirates, expressing optimism about an imminent solution.

“We’re meticulously ironing out the finer points, and the airline is set to announce the exact resumption date shortly,” Keyamo confirmed.

Highlighting the significance of these efforts, Keyamo credited President Bola Tinubu for his role in facilitating the discussions, which are anticipated to bring relief to eager travelers and reinstate a vital international route.

“The dedication shown by both parties ensures a positive outcome, offering hope to travelers eagerly anticipating the reopening,” he emphasized.

Keyamo’s revelation echoes a beacon of hope for countless passengers awaiting the restoration of seamless air travel between Dubai and Nigeria.
