This Saturday history will be made as Amadeus University officially opens its doors and matriculates its pioneer students. Amadeus University is a legacy project, an academic citadel built on the foundation of access, equity, and opportunity. Dr. Nwabunka’s vision is not just about education but about creating a future where no deserving student is denied learning due to financial limitations.

Dr. Nwabunka’s journey in transformative leadership began when he was a leader in several units at the United Nations, after which he founded Grooming Centre. This nongovernmental organization employs over 4,000 families and counting. either directly or indirectly, through financial inclusion, microfinance support, and social development goals impact programmes. His unwavering belief in people’s potential led to the establishment of Lady Kate Okafor Scholarship Scheme, which, in the last eight years, has granted over 3,721 scholarships to secondary school students across Nigeria.

But Dr. Nwabunka did not stop there. Understanding that true change starts with higher education, he envisioned a university where academic excellence meets social responsibility, where graduates are ready and skilled for global competitiveness and the challenges of modern work environment, and Amadeus University was born.
