BREAKING: Chelsea Agrees £115m Deal With Brighton To Sign Caicedo 

Nigerian-born Olise, Lavia expected to join the Blues too

Chelsea have reached an agreement with Brighton for a British transfer record at £115m fee plus a sell-on clause for midfielder Moises Caicedo, several high profile sources report Sunday night.

Caicedo will sign an 8-year contact, until 2031, with Chelsea with an option for a one-year extention after turning down the overtures of Liverpool who made a huge bid of £110m.

This much were revealed by Sky Sports News and transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano.

The two authoritative sources informed that a medical has been booked for the player who is now expected to become a Chelsea player on Monday.

Caicedo’s agents were at the Executive box on Sunday evening to watch the club play out a thrilling 1-1 draw with Liverpool.

The reports also suggested that a deal for Nigerian-born France youth international, Michael Olise is in the offing. Romeo Lavia is also expected to join from Southampton.

The Crystal Palace winger is viewed as a successor to Hakim Ziyech who has joined the Saudi Pro League revolution.
