Overwhelmed with gratitude, Burna Boy expressed his appreciation to his fans and Audiomack, acknowledging their unwavering support in his musical journey. He humbly stated, “I am incredibly grateful and humbled; much love to everyone who has streamed my music and continues to support me; you all are the true MVPs.”

In recent years, Burna Boy has played a pivotal role in the global rise of African music. Two of his most recent albums, “Twice As Tall” released in 2020 and “Love, Damini” released in 2022, have amassed over 300 million streams each on Audiomack.

Notably, “Love, Damini” was honoured with a prestigious GRAMMY Award for Best World Music Album, making Burna Boy the first Nigerian artist to receive such recognition.

Now, less than two years later, Burna Boy has once again shattered records, emerging as the first African artist to reach the remarkable milestone of one billion streams on Audiomack.
