Kogi Guber: INEC To Conduct Fresh Election In Some Polling Units On November 18 Over Irregularities

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Monday released the full list of newly-elected Senators and other members of the 10th National Assembly.

According to the list released via the Commission’s official Twitter handle on Wednesday, there are 98 senators-elect and 325 House of Representative members-elect who were declared winners in the 25th February 2023 election.

INEC Chairman, Prof Mahmood Yakubu, on Tuesday presented certificates of return to the senators-elect at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, which serves as the National Collation Centre for the 2023 general elections.

That of the House of Representatives will be done on Wednesday, 8th March 2023.

Elections in some senatorial districts and federal constituencies were declared inconclusive.

Out of 18 political parties that participated in the election, seven won senatorial seats and eight won House of Representatives seats in the National Assembly.

For the senate: APC won 57 seats, APGA – 1, LP – 6,  PDP – 29, SDP – 2, NNPP – 2, YPP – 1

For the House of Representatives: ADC – 2, APC – 162, APGA – 4, LP – 34, NNPP – 18, PDP – 102, SDP – 2, YPP – 1
