He expressed optimism that the building would be completed within the next two years given the level of commitment by the members to the project.

Ojoto is a town in Idemili South Local Council Area of Anambra State.

While thanking those who donated the money used in commencing the project, Chief Agwuna called on other members to participatively in the activities of the association and see the need to support the project which according to him will also be a source of revenue generation for them.

“We are thanking God for one year again, for giving us life, that’s why we are here.

“We are here to also show our people the ODTU building project that we have started. This is new ODTU site,” Agwuna said, pointing at the building site.

“The building will serve us when we are having meeting. We are going to have meetings here and we are also going to put it on rent. Individuals, churches, schools and organisations can come and rent it.”

“We want to live a legacy for our people that are coming. We are going to tell our children that this is the civic centre that Ojoto has in Lagos so that they will continue from where we stopped,” he further stated.
