Tinubu’s Reforms Won’t Achieve Success Overnight – Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari will on Friday, October 21, 2022, formally inaugurate the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council.

In a statement on Tuesday, the Chief Press Secretary to the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Gboyega Akosile, said the president will also unveil the manifesto of the APC presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“President Muhammadu Buhari will on Friday at the State House, Abuja, unveil the manifesto and policy document of All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and inaugurate the Campaign Council,” Akosile said.

It would be recalled that the APC presidential campaign organisation had a few months ago distanced itself from a manifesto that circulated on social media platforms.

Tinubu’s campaign organisation spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, had said that the document that was circulating on social media is not the official manifesto of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress for the 2023 general election,” and that the presidential candidate “could not be held accountable on any of the issues raised in the document.”
