Breaking: Premier League Clubs To Honour Queen Elizabeth With National Anthem

English Premier League clubs have been mandated to play the national anthem and hold a minute silence before all seven matches billed for this weekend to pay tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth II.

The club managers have also been told to consider wearing suits and leading their teams out.

There will be a minute applause on 70 minutes mark which symbolises the number of years of the Queen’s reign.

Big screens and advertising boards around the pitches will display tribute images rather than familiar (commercial) messages.

The monarch died last week Thursday at the age of 96 and her burial will hold on Monday, September 19 in London.
