APC Primary: Akpabio, Amosun, Fayemi, Others Step Down For Tinubu

Six of the presidential aspirants in the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), have stepped down for former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the ongoing special national convention of the party at the Eagle Square, Abuja.

They are governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi, former Speaker Nigeria House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole, Senators Godswill Akpabio and Ibikunle Amosun.

Others are Senator Ajayi Borofice, and Governor of Jigawa State, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar.

Fayemi is also former chairman Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF).

Akpabio is a former governor of Akwa Ibom State, and the immediate past minister of Niger Delta Affairs in pursuit of the presidential ambition.

Senator Amosun is a former governor of Ogun State.

They urged their supporters to support Tinubu to emerge as the presidential flag bearer of the APC.
