History-making Nigerian Biker Arrives Seme Border From UK Trip

Nigerians on Sunday trooped out to welcome adventure biker Kunle Adeyanju at the Seme Border in Lagos after successfully riding from London to Nigeria on a bike.

The journey which lasted between 15th of April, 2022 to 29th of May, 2022 saw him drive across France, Spain, Morocco, Senegal, Mauritania, Mali, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, and Benin Republic.

Adeyanju covered around a distance of 12,000 km.

The Nigerian thus set the record straight as the first man in modern history to travel from London to Nigeria on a bike.

Throughout the journey, the self-styled ‘Lionheart’ kept his fans updated with each stops and challenges whilst sojourning through dangerous parts.

Adeyanju’s mission is to raise funds in a bid to tackle polio in Africa as well as tackle primary healthcare issues, clean water and sanitation.

The brave bike enthusiast is a London-based Nigerian entrepreneur and an author. He joined the Rotary Club when he was still studying at the university.

From 2006 to 2009, he worked with Shell Petroleum, and then after completing his University education, he began to work as a management trainee at a British American Tobacco Company. Now, he has established his own private firm called the Pelicians DNO in which he is the CEO.

In April 2022, he began his motorbike trip from London to Lagos to raise funds for primary healthcare, Polio plus project, water, and sanitation.
