Sports Ministry Plans Roadshow For Nigeria Versus Ghana

Ahead of Tuesday’s return leg fixture in the 2022 FIFA World Cup playoffs between Nigeria and Ghana, the Logistics Committee set up by Nigeria’s Ministry of Youth and Sports has announced plans to organise a roadshow to inform, entertain and alert football fans in Abuja about the game.

Kola Daniel, a member of the Committee who also serves as Media aid to Minister of Youths and Sports, Sunday Dare told the sporting media that the move is to acquaint Nigerians on the need to come out en-masse to drum overwhelming support for the Super Eagles.

“The committee has perfected plans to ensure buses are available to convey fans from the nook and crannies of Abuja and its environs,” Daniels said.

“We are even appealing to the Federal Government to declare Tuesday a half free working day to allow FCT residents to come and support the Super Eagles.

“it’s a must-win match, 30, 000 fans are expected, we want to rekindle the rivalry with Ghana,” Kọla added.

The first leg of the 2022 FIFA World Cup playoffs fixtures between Nigeria and Ghana ended on a scorelles draw Friday evening at fh Baba Yara stadium in Kumasi.
