In the midst of squabbles ahead of the All Progressives Congress (APC) March 26 National Convention, the Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) led by Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni has released its approved list of members appointed for various committees set up for the convention.

In a press statement signed the CECPC national secretary, Sen. John James Akpanudoedehe and dated 15 March, 2022, the CECPC said the party is crisis free and urged the public to disregard any other list of sub-committees for the convention not approved by the Buni leadership.

The CECPC stated that Buni is still fully in charge as party national chairman, that he has merely been out of the country for medical care and will soon be back to continue his job.
