Recall that Bello just took over the role of  national chairman after President Muhammadu Buhari removed Mai Mala  Buni  over allegations of malfeasance and other unnamed infractions.

President Buhari, Prime Business Africa gathered, had cut short his planned medical  trip to London and returned from Kenya on Friday to ensure a smooth take over by Bello. The President, who was supposed to proceed to London from Nairobi, beat a retreat only to continue the journey from Abuja on Sunday after he had directed security operatives to ensure a smooth assumption office by Bello.
