Lagos High Court Sentences Kidnap Kingpin Evans To Life Imprisonment

A Lagos High Court on Friday sentenced Billionaire Kidnapper, Chukwudimeme Onwuamadike popularly known as ‘Evans’ to life in prison.
Justice Hakeem Oshodi of the Lagos High Court in Ikeja on Friday sentenced Evans and his accomplices – Uche Amadi and Okwuchukwu Nwachukwu to life imprisonment.
The kidnap kingpin who was evasive tp the long arms of the law for many years before the crack Police team led by DCP Abba Kyari arrested him.
The fate of another accomplice, Victor Aduba, who is a policeman is unknown in the case.
There was understandably tight security in the premises of the High Court as the verdict was passed.
The court found them guilty of conspiracy and kidnapping of Mr Donatius Dunu, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Maydon Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
Donatus Dunu was kidnapped on February 14, 2017, and a ransom of €223,000 was collected from his family.
