The market capitalisation of the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) increased to N156.05 trillion on Monday.
According to NGX, the market capitalisation surged by N64.29 billion, from the N155.99 trillion recorded on Friday.

Investors exchanged 967.46 million shares, valued at N43.84 billion, in 122,041 deals, compared to the 1.87 billion shares traded in 92,353 deals, worth N104.29 billion, on Friday.
Top five gainers
- NASCON’s share price increased by N31.70 kobo, from N178.30 kobo to N210 per share.
- FTN Cocoa’s share value grew by N0.55 kobo, from N5.50 kobo to N6.05 per share.
- Consolidated Hallmark Holdings’ share appreciated by N0.52 kobo to end trading at N5.72 kobo, having opened with N5.20 kobo.
- Chemical and Allied Products’ share ended trading at N159.70 kobo per share, from N145.20 kobo per share – indicating an increase of N14.50 kobo.
- Dangote Sugar’s share value was up by N6.95 kobo, after closing at N76.65 kobo from N69.70 kobo per share.

- NAHCO share price depreciated by N59, dwindling from N258 to N96.60 kobo per share.
- FGSUK2033S6 recorded a N13.39 kobo decline in its share price to end trading at N96.60 kobo after opening with N109.99 kobo per share.
- International Energy Insurance recorded a N13.39 kobo decline in its share price to end trading at N2.48 kobo after opening with N2.75 kobo per share.
- UPDC lost N0.45 kobo in its share price, to sell at N4.45 kobo from N4.90 kobo per share.
- Learn Africa reported a decline of N0.75 kobo from the previous share price of N9.30 kobo to end trading at N8.55 kobo per share.

- Access Holdings reported that 182.66 million shares valued at N4.73 billion were traded on its floor.
- AIICO recorded 58.08 million shares valued at N264.15 million.
- Fidelity Bank saw investors trade 57.49 million of its shares valued at N1.09 billion.
- Zenith Bank recorded 48.93 million shares exchanged on its floor, worth N6.38 billion.
- Chams reported that traders exchanged 45.87 million shares valued at N149.35 million.
