Breaking: Nigeria Qualifies For FIBA Women’s World Cup, Defeats Mali

Nigeria’s D’Tigress on Sunday afternoon qualified for the 2022 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup after their win against West African rivals, Mali.

The African champions had suffered a setback in their quest to qualify for the tournament which holds in Australia when they lost to China on Thursday.

The team however won their next game against France 67-65 on Saturday and has now confirmed their participation at the World Cup.
