Izuchukwu OkosiNigeria’s D’Tigress on Sunday afternoon qualified for the 2022 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup after their win against West African rivals, Mali.
The African champions had suffered a setback in their quest to qualify for the tournament which holds in Australia when they lost to China on Thursday.
The team however won their next game against France 67-65 on Saturday and has now confirmed their participation at the World Cup.
