The market capitalisation of the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) Limited closed at N90.99 trillion on Wednesday, November 26.

Also, the all-share index (ASI) settled at 143,064.57 ASI, while equity traders exchanged 738.35 million shares in 19,919 deals, worth N35.53 billion.

Top five gainers

  • AIICO’s share price increased by N0.32 kobo to rise from N3.20 kobo to N3.52 kobo per share.
  • NCR’s share value grew by N4.50 kobo, from N45.20 kobo to N49.70 kobo per share.
  • Ikeja Hotel ended trading at N25 per share, from N22.85 kobo per share – indicating an increase of N2.15 kobo.
  • Prestige gained N0.11 kobo to end trading at N1.60 kobo, having opened with N1.49 kobo.
  • Sterling Financial’s share value was up by N0.50 kobo, after closing at N7.80 kobo from N7.30 kobo per share.

Top five losers

  • Learn Africa’s share price depreciated by N0.58 kobo, dwindling from N5.80 kobo to N5.22 kobo per share.
  • Cadbury recorded a N5.85 kobo decline in its share price to end trading at N53.10 kobo after opening with N58.95 kobo per share.
  • Meyer lost N1.60 kobo in its share price after trading hours, to sell at N14.55 kobo from N16.15 kobo per share.
  • UPDC recorded a N0.53 kobo decline in its share price to end trading at N5.47 kobo after opening with N6 per share.
  • International Breweries reported a decline of N1 from the previous day’s share price of N12 to end trading at N11 per share.

  • GTCO reported that 134.12 million shares valued at N11.57 billion were traded on its floor.
  • Access Corporation recorded 110.52 million shares valued at N2.29 billion.
  • First HoldCo saw investors trade 62.77 million of its shares valued at N1.94 billion.
  • UBA recorded 39.26 million shares exchanged on its floor, worth N1.42 billion.
  • Nigerian Breweries reported 37.99 million shares valued at N2.50 billion exchanged in investors’ hands.
