How To Vote For AFRIMA 2025

The countdown to AFRIMA 2025 has officially begun as the All Africa Music Awards announced that its online voting platform will go live on September 10, 2025. Fans across Africa and beyond will finally get the chance to decide this year’s winners by casting their votes online at www.afrima.org , vote.afrima.org.

Organized by the International Committee of AFRIMA in partnership with the African Union Commission (AUC), voting will remain open until November 28, 2025, just two days before the Main Awards Ceremony in Lagos, Nigeria.

This year, AFRIMA recorded a historic 10,717 entries, the highest in its history. After a 10-day screening by a 13-member international jury, 271 songs from 270 artists earned 378 nominations across 40 categories, representing all five African regions and the diaspora. Winners will be determined through a combination of public votes and the AFRIMA Academy.

How To Vote For AFRIMA 2025

To vote, music lovers simply create an account on the portal or log in with existing details. Each user gets 40 votes per day, each carrying 100 points, to distribute across their favorite nominees. The system also offers a shareable voting link, when others use it, the original voter earns extra credits to cast more votes.

However, the Legend Award winner will be selected solely by the International Committee of AFRIMA. The entire process is independently audited to guarantee fairness and transparency.

Excitement is already building among nominated artists. Burundian star Sat-B, South African jazz musician Sibusiso Mash Mashiloane, Moroccan DJ Moh Green, Cameroonian rising star King Luca, and Mavin Records talents Rema and Ayra Starr have all urged fans to show support when voting opens.

Themed “Unstoppable Africa”, AFRIMA 2025 will run from November 25–30, 2025 in Lagos. The week-long celebration will include the AFRIMA Music Village, the Africa Music Business Summit, the Nominees Party, and the Main Awards Ceremony on November 30.

The event will be broadcast live in over 84 countries, cementing its place as Africa’s biggest music awards show.
