Prime Business Africa gathered that the investment of the Ogbechie family had increased due to Eterna’s share appreciating by 76.95 percent in the first half of this year, indicating Eterna enjoyed investors’ bullish sentiment in the equity market.

This raised the company’s share price up from N24.30 kobo on January 2 to N43 per share on June 30, indicating the cost of Eterna’s share increased by N18.70 kobo.

Findings showed that the N15.7 billion gain recorded by the Ogbechie family was part of the N24.38 billion combined gain notched up by Eterna shareholders within the period under review.

The 76.95 percent increase in share price also raised Eterna’s market capitalisation from N31.69 billion to N56.07 billion between January and June.
