Nigeria U-19 D’Tigress Set For Spain Friendly Ahead World Cup

Nigeria’s U-19 women’s national basketball team, Junior D’Tigress have intensified preparations in Abuja ahead of the 2025 FIBA U19 Women’s Basketball World Cup.

According to information from the Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF), a friendly match has been scheduled in Spain as part of their build-up, pending the timely release of travel visas.

The tournament tips off on July 12 in Czechia, with Nigeria placed in Group C alongside China, Canada, and Portugal while the team will open their campaign against China on the opening day.
