Trump To Iran: Make Peace Or Face The Tragedy Of War

June 22, 2025

The United States President, Donald Trump, has warned Iran to make peace or face further attacks on its strategic military and nuclear sites.

Trump stated this on Saturday night, while confirming that the U.S. military carried out precision air strikes on three of Iran’s nuclear sites, including Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan, on Saturday.

With the attack, Washington has formally joined Israel’s war with Tehran amid rising tension in the Middle East.

In a clip of his televised address, Trump said the aim of the attack was to “destroy Iran’s nuclear enrichment capacity and a stop to the nuclear threats posed by the world’s number one sponsor of terror.”

Trump said the air strikes “totally obliterated” Iran’s nuclear sites.

“Tonight, I can report to the world that the military strikes were a spectacular military success. Iran’s military and nuclear sites have been completely and totally obliterated.

“Iran, the bully of the Middle East, must now make peace. If they do not, the future attacks will be far greater,” Trump stated.

He congratulated Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, saying the U.S. and Israel worked as a team like never seen before. He also hailed Israeli military for the “wonderful jobs” they have done.

“There will be either peace or there will be tragedy for Iran far greater than we have witnessed in the last eight days,” he threatened.

Reacting, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi described the U.S. attack as “lawless and criminal.”

He said his country has the right to defend its sovereignty.
