Tunisia Loses Crucial Group F Match, Sets Up Sunday Clash With Nigeria

Three-time champions, Super Eagles of Nigeria will face 2004 champions Tunisia in the Round of 16 of the ongoing Africa Nations Cup at the Roumde Adjia stadium in Garaou, Cameroon.

The Carthage Eagles booked their place to the knockout phase of the competition as one of the four third-placed countries after a shock 1-0 loss to the Gambia on Thursday night.

Tunisia finished 3rd in group F with just three points after three games in the group stage.

In the other Group F game, Mali defeated Mauritania 2-0 and topped the section.

Earlier in the evening, Cote d’Ivoire defeated Algeria 3-1 while Equatorial Guinea defeated Sierra Leone 1-0 in Group E.
