The All Progressives Congress (APC) has formally filed an eight-ground appeal against the judgement of an Abuja Federal High Court delivered by Justice Inyang Ekwo on the eligibility of the party’s flagbearer in November 6 gubernatorial election in Anambra State, Andy Uba.

The appeal was filed on Tuesday, 21st December 2021 and is seeking to reverse the ruling by Justice Ekwo which the aggrieved party maintained lacked territorial jurisdiction to entertain the matter ab-initio.

The appealants are extremely hopeful that ‘justice’ will be served in the face of the strong grounds it is premised

The APC flagbearer Andy Uba had expressed his reservations on the outcome of the election which stretched over 72 hours after the supplementary election in Ihiala where polls were not conducted on November 6.

The office of the National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) also made known in a letter it wrote to the The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command, Awka declaring that there is no factionalisation in the party.
