Air Peace Debunks Report Of Fare Hike

Air Peace has debunked reports claiming that it has increased its air fares for domestic routes by 100 per cent.

The airline in a statement released via its X handle on Saturday, said it did not release any such information, adding that it is “false.”

Some reports that went viral claimed that Air Peace has concluded plans to increase fares for all local routes by 100 per cent with effect from November 1, 2024.

Refuting the claim in the reports, Air Peace in a statement said it has not released any official statement regarding increase in flight fares.

The statement said: “Our attention has been drawn to reports and images circulating online regarding a purported 100% fare increase by Air Peace Limited.

“We would like to categorically state that this information is false and did not originate from Air Peace.

“We have not released any official statement regarding a fare increase as described, and any announcements regarding our pricing would only be made through our verified channels.”

It urged customers and clients to rely exclusively on its platforms – website, and social media accounts- for accurate updates and information on fares.
