After 71 day of intrigues in the BBNaija season 9, Kellyrae emerged winner on Sunday evening, beating seven other finalists to cart away the N100 million prize money at stake.

Prior to tonight’s grand finale, Kellyrae who is married to Kassia officially, has been given a 50-50 chance of emerging winner just like two members of the top three viz Wanni and Victoria.

Recall that eight housemates were left standing after 20 of the 28 housemates who flagged off the race were evicted in pairs and in singles over the weeks. The eight finalists were Kellyrae, Anita, Nelly, Onyeka, Ozee, Sooj, Victoria, and Wanni.

After six evictions, Kellyrae and Wanni were the last two housemates standing before Kellyrae  eventually emerged winner to the delight of his fans, family members and of course partner for life, Kassia.

For winning the show, Kellyrae will be taking home the N100 million grand prize, including a cash prize and an SUV, plus additional sponsored prizes.

Kellyrae garnered 35.95% of the total vote cast by viewers, closely followed by Wanni who scored  32.48%. Onyeka claimed the third place with a distance score of 11.46%.  Sooj correctly predicted to be one of the outsiders in the contest took first from the back with unimpressive score of 1.18%.
