APC Postpones Caucus

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has postponed the national caucus and National Executive Committee meetings indefinitely.

Prime Business Africa had reported that the ruling party had earlier scheduled the national caucus meeting to hold on 11th September and National Executive Committee on 12th September.

However, in a statement on Monday by the National Publicity Secretary of APC, Felix Morka, the party, new dates will soon zone.

“Members of the National Caucus and National Executive Committee (NEC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) are hereby informed that the National Caucus and National Executive Committee meetings scheduled to be held on September 11 and 12, 2024, respectively, have been postponed,” Morka said.

“New dates for the meetings will be communicated in due course,” Morka stated. No reason for the postponement of the meetings was given.

Prime Business Africa had earlier reported that one of the agenda of the NEC meeting as directed by President Tinubu is party leaders to schedule a date for a non-elective national convention.
