Prime Business Africa had reported that the young Shaibu was admitted at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) in April, where he was diagnosed of the medical condition and needed money for transplant to be done abroad.

He had been sick for about nine months with a history of recurrent abdominal swelling, yellowness of the eye, and fever among other symptoms.

While the call for donation to save Emmanuel Shaibu’s life through transplant abroad was ongoing, the family moved him to a private hospital in Abuja where he unfortunately passed away.

The family expressed their gratitude to members of the public who showed concern in the plight of the young boy.

May his soul rest in peace.
