UNKNOWN gunmen have set the house of Joe Igbokwe ablaze at Nnewi, Anambra State on Sunday afternoon.

Igbokwe is a Special Assistant to the Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwolu, on Drainage and Water Resources.

Igbokwe a Chieftain of All Progressives  Congress (APC), who resides in Lagos, accused the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) of being responsible for the attack.

He wrote on his Facebook page that he was able to monitor the incident through a CCTV camera installed in his house at Nnewi.

“IPOB invaded my house in Nnewi about now. I am sure they razed down my house giving the jerrycans of petrol I saw being offloaded from Sienna car via CCTV,” Igbokwe wrote on his Facebook page.
