Ikechukwu disclosed that D’banj, the co-founder of the renowned record label, used to allocate a mere fraction of the show earnings to him, initially doling out a paltry sum of N50,000 from big N1 million bookings.

However, Ikechukwu’s narrative took a turn when he confronted D’banj about the unfair compensation, leading to a slight increase to N150,000 per show.

This adjustment came only after D’banj consulted his mother, whose influence within the label was paramount. Ikechukwu emphasized the significant role D’banj’s mother played in the decision-making process, indicating that decisions were seldom made without her spiritual approval.
