Guinness Nigeria To Hold 71st AGM By Proxy

Guinness Nigeria Plc. on Thursday notified the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) Ltd. and the investing public that it would hold its 71st Annual General Meeting (AGM) by proxy.

The company made the disclosure in a notice signed by its Secretary, Mr Rotimi Odusola, and posted on the website of the NGX.

According to the organisation, the AGM would hold on Oct. 19.

The company listed  Dr Omobola Johnson, Mr Baker Magunda, Prof. Fabian Ajogwu, Mrs Zainab Abdurrahman, Mrs Bisi Bakare, Mr Sunny Nwosu and Mr Nornah Awoh as some of the proxies nominated for the AGM.

According to the organisation, if payment of dividend is approved, it is intended that the payment will be made on Oct. 20, to holders of shares whose names appeared on the register of members on Sept. 28.
