Eminent Nigerian Leaders React To Ben Nwabueze’s Death

Eminent National Leaders in Nigeria under the auspices of The Patriots and Project Nigeria Movement have reacted to the death of their Chairman and Leader, Prof Ben Nwabueze, SAN whose sad event happened on Sunday, 29th October, 2023 at 92 years.

The Patriots showered encomiums on Nwabueze for being very ingenious and courageous on national constitutional matters at all times as erudite constitutional lawyer, teacher and icon.

They pointed out that he led the platform of Nigeria’s eminent leaders, statesmen and women in both Project Nigeria Movement and The Patriots with great passion and candour from the FRA Williams Chambers in Lagos.

While describing the now deceased as their leader in constitutional exploration for the stability and prosperity of Nigeria in the last 12 years, the Patriots hailed him for stepping into the shoes of Federick Rotimi Alade Williams of blessed memory as an outstanding authority in Constitution crafting and political reforms.

“Our circle, after due consultation with the acting leader, Chief Emeka Anyaoku, Cfr and other eminent national leaders of the Project Nigeria Movement and The Patriots, shall announce a programme of immortalisation for our departed leader.

“Finally, we wish to condole and commiserate with members of the Nwabueze family as we plan to collaborate with them in giving our leader a befitting burial and immortalisation,” read a statement issued on Monday by the National Secretary of Project Nigeria Movement, Olawale Okunniyi.
