Air Peace Plane Returns To Lagos As Bird Strike Aborts Landing

Nigeria’s leading indigenous airline, Air Peace, has introduced new flights on its Enugu and Owerri Southeast routes.

This was disclosed in a press statement released by the airline. According to the statement, it has introduced Owerri-Lagos 09:10, Lagos-Owerri 15:30, Enugu-Lagos 07:20, and Lagos-Enugu 17:00 scheduled flights.

The airline said the new flights would facilitate more, the movement of air passengers along those routes. This comes as the ever-busy Christmas season draws closer.

Part of the statement reads, “Passengers can now connect Lagos from Enugu at 07:20 in the morning via Air Peace and return with our 17:00 flight in the evening. This is also applicable to the Owerri route. Passengers can join our Owerri-Lagos 09:10 flight in the morning and return with our 15:30 Lagos-Owerri flight.”

Air Peace has been consistently expanding its services both for domestic and international flight operations.

Recently, the airline increased its Airbus aircraft fleet to 10 in line with its quest to add more routes to its scheduled domestic and African destination flights.

The airline had also announced resumption of flight operations to Uyo with N50, 000 re-launch fare from December 1, 2022, a move analysts say is an attempt to break monopoly of the route by the Akwa Ibom State-owned Ibom Air.
