Former Senate Leader, representing Borno South Senatorial District, Ali Ndume, has faulted the deadline fixed the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) for phasing out the Old Naira Notes.

Ndume of the All Progressives Congress (APC) insisted that the January 31 deadline scheduled for removing the old N1,000, N500, and N200 notes is unrealistic and counter productive.
