Tinubu Travels To Beijing China On Official Visit

Nigeria’s President, Bola Tinubu, has arrived Beijing, China, on official visit.

This was announced by Special Assistant to the President on Social Media, Olusegun Dada, on his X handle on Sunday.

This comes after his brief visit to Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Dada disclosed that Tinubu will meet with President Xi Jinping and will hold meetings with Chinese business leaders.

The president will also participate alongside delegation from Nigeria to the Summit of the Forum for China-Africa Cooperation.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrives in Beijing for his Official State Visit to China. He will meet with President Xi Jinping and will hold meetings with Chinese business leaders on the sidelines of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation,” Dada stated.

According to a post on Presidency X handle, Tinubu, on arrival, was received by Nigerian delegation to the Summit including Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, and Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman AbdulRasaq; Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Governor of Kaduna, Uba Sani; Minister of Finance, Wale Edun and the Minister of Trade, Industry and Investment, Doris Uzoka-Anite.
