Tinubu Returns After Private Visit To France

President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Tuesday evening returned to Nigeria from his private visit to France.

Tinubu landed at the Presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja around 8:55pm.

He was received by some of the senior members of his administration, including the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Senator George Akume; his Chief of Staff, Hon Femi Gbajabiamila; the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FTC) Nyesom Wike.

Others present at the airport to receive the president were Kaduna  State Governor, Uba Sani; Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil), Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, and the Director-General of the Department of State Service (DSS), Yusuf Magaji Bichi, among others.

Prime Business Africa had reported that  President Tinubu travelled to France on January on Wednesday, 24 January which his media adviser, Ajuri Ngelale in a terse statement, said was “for a private visit.” The trip was his first visit to France in 2024 and his third time of going to the European Nation since he became president.
