Showmax’s reality TV series, “The Real Housewives of Lagos,” is transcending its African roots to audiences on the global stage. The show’s second season is set to make its international debut on Hayu, NBCUniversal’s reality-focused SVOD streaming service, spanning 45 markets across the globe.

This expansion, including countries such as Australia, Canada, Italy, and the UK, marks a pivotal moment for the show’s creators and underscores its universal appeal.

Originally premiering exclusively on Showmax on September 29, the series swiftly became a sensation, shattering first-day streaming records in Nigeria.

Nestled in the heart of one of Africa’s most cosmopolitan cities, “The Real Housewives of Lagos” offers viewers a captivating glimpse into the lives of the city’s elite women. Against the backdrop of opulence, the show navigates the intricacies of high-society circles, creating a perfect blend of entertainment and insight.

The much-anticipated second season introduces new faces, with fashion entrepreneur Tania Omotayo and model Faith Morey joining the existing cast.
