Hedda Gabler is considered an important title within the genre of realism, redefining storytelling when it was released over a century ago. DaCosta and Thompson’s adaptation is expected to bring a fresh perspective to the classic play.

Bianca is a loyal character who helps the protagonist recognize his own limits, and the series follows their growing relationship and eventual parenthood. The character also has a hearing impairment, which led to some interesting sound design choices in the film.

Meanwhile, DaCosta recently released the first trailer for her upcoming movie The Marvels. The film is a sequel to Captain Marvel and features the characters Ms. Marvel and Monica Rambeau from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The movie follows the unlikely team of superheroes as they face threats in outer space, but a condition causes them to swap places every time they use their powers, leading to chaos.
