Sound Sultan’s Family Set To Release Late Musician’s Last Album

The family of late Nigerian music sensation Olarenwanju Fasasi popularly known as Sound Sultan is set to release the last album the singer was working on before his demise.

Monday, July 11 (today) marked the first anniversary of the demise of the artiste who died of throat cancer in 2021.

The listening party for the album, Reality CHQ, was held across three cities on Sunday night.

The event was held in New York, London, and in the Victoria Island area of Lagos.

In a video on Sultan’s page, his brother, Baba Dee, who spoke from the listening party in New York, noted that the album was a special project.

He said, “We are having the one year remembrance of Sound Sultan, the great iconic Nigerian singer and we are having his official listening party for the album, Reality CHQ.

“This was the album Sound Sultan was working on before he answered the call of the Almighty. This is a very special project.

“I promised myself this project will come out and people will get to hear the voice of Sound Sultan and it’s coming out on the 11th of July.”

Sound Sultan was 44 years old and was buried in the USA according to Islamic rites.
