Soludo Commends Ezekwesili For Anambra Transition Report

Anambra State, governor-elect, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has applauded Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, Chairman of the State Transition Committee for the report.

The committee submitted the transition report to Soludo on Saturday during its second plenary session at Golden Tulip Agulu Lake Hotel.

Soludo expressed his appreciation to the committee through a Facebook post on Sunday, saying that the timely delivery of the report marks another historic milestone in the ongoing transition process in the state.

“I want to thank my beloved sister, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili and her team for their invaluable contributions.

“The success of this committee of initially 80 persons and an additional 50, within a 6-week period, is another evidence of the enormous possibilities that abound when technology is effectively deployed by a people driven by patriotism, and love for the Homeland,” Soludo wrote.

He added that, “The substance of the document is more than enough proof that not a minute of waste was entertained in the course of this assignment.

“If we must make progress in our proposed journey to a Liveable and Prosperous Smart Megacity, then arbitrariness must give way for strategic actions.

“I really cannot thank this committee enough for availing ndị Anambra their time, talent and treasure. I am committed to ensuring that their effort does not fall to ruin. God bless you all Immensely.”

According to the schedule of activities for the transition, Soludo will be sworn-in on March 17, 2022.
