Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has approved the appointments of six individuals into key positions in the state and twenty others to serve in the Anambra State Education Advisory Council.
The appointments are coming four months after the appointment of eleven people into key positions in June. It was announced in a statement signed by Christian Aburime, Press Secretary To the Governor.
According to the statement, the new appointees and their portfolios include: Mr Patrick Estate Onyedum, Chairman, Anambra Sports Commission; Ms Chinwe Jane Okoli, Special Adviser, Innovation and Business Incubation; Engr. Ikeobi Ejiofor, Managing Director Anambra State Water Resources Management Agency; Mr Osita Onuko, MD/CEO Awka Capital Territory Development Authority; Engr. Kingsley Obinna Nduka, Anambra Road Maintenance Agency; and Engr. Cele Anere, Managing Director, OCHA Brigade.
The new appointees to serve in Anambra State Education Advisory Council, and their portfolios include: Prof A. U. Nonyelu, Member; Chief Osita Chidoka, Member; Mr Patrick Okigbo III, Member; Prof S.O.E Ogbogu, Member; Dr. (Mrs) Angela M.A. Obodozie, Member; Rev. Sr. (Prof) Mary Theresa Opara, Member; Engr. Paul Enidom, Member; Prof. Walter Chukwuma Nwafia, Member; Dr Ngozi Agbasimalo, Member; Mrs Obianuju Chinelo Kenechukwu, Member; Prof. (Mrs) Chinelo Grace Nzelibe, Member; Prof O.S.A Obikeze, Member; Prof. (Mrs) Virgy Onyene, Member; Chairperson ASUBEB, Member; Chairperson PPSSC, Member; V.C, COOU, Member; Provost, College of Education, Nsugbe, Member; Rector, Anambra State Polytechnic, Mgbakwu, Member.
The Governor and Commissioner for Education, will serve as the Chairman and Secretary respectively.
