See List Of Properties FG Plans To ‘Recover’ In 11 Southern States

THE Nigerian Government, in its latest recovery drive, has listed about 80 properties which include portions of land and buildings in 11 states across the federation as exclusively owned by it.

The Federal Government contracted a company known as Messr. Gerry Ikputu & Partners as agent to oversee the ‘recovery’ process and report to the Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami SAN, who signed the authorization letter for the exercise.

Here are the states and the properties listed in each of them:

Lagos
1. Approximately 4,332 square metres in No. 2 Osborne by Ikoyi;
2. Approximately 22.938 square metres in Lagos Town, Tafawa Balewa Square;
3. Approximately 4,222 square metres in Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase 1 beside the substation;
4. Approximately 1,700 sq metres with twin duplex uncompleted in Victoria Gardens City (VGC) Estate;
5. Six buildings, two-bedroom flats each with boys quarters and garage at No. 45 Moore Road, Yaba;
6. Ware house at Wharf Road, Apapa;
7. Property along Murtala Mohammed Airport beside MM2 Building, domestic wing of Airport Transit/Protocol Office, Ikeja;
8. Five-bedroom duplex and six-bedroom bungalow with boys quarters at No. 23 Akinjobi Street, GRA, Ikeja;
9. Empty fenced-land at No. 13b McDonald Road, Ikoyi;
10. Eighteen 2 bedroom flats with boys quarters at No. 143 Adeola Odeku Street, Victoria Island;
11. Plot 001 Awolowo Road, Ikoyi;
12. Eight Charles at No. 8 Club Road, Ikoyi;
13. Flat 6 No. 5a George Street, Ikoyi;
14. Two bedroom flats A and B at Block -17 Ladoke Akintola Street (Ground Floor left and right wing);
15. Two bedroom flats C at Block 23 Ladoke Akintola Street (middle floor left wing).
16. Two bedrooms flat F at Block 25 Ladoke Akintola Street (2nd floor right wing);
17. One duplex at No. 11 Alexander Avenue, Ikoyi;
18. Plot 24/25 Sango House, Marian, Lagos.
19. Office complex, 6 floors with one L-shaped Bungalow (2 rooms), external storage yard with a storey port-cabin office at Awolowo Road, Alausa, Ikeja;
20. No. 8 Club Road Elegushi;
21. Eko DisCo at No. 34 Port Harcourt Crescent, Agbara;
22. A detached storey house of four-bedroom with three rooms BQ at block 11 Ijora staff quarters, Ijora GRA;
23. A block of 6 No 3 -bedroom and two Bedroom flats. 1 additional detached at 11Bank Road, Ikoyi;
24. Two blocks of 12 no. three-bedroom flat each with swimming pools at 21 Milverton Avenue;
25. Eight chalets guest room at No. 9 Club Road, Ikoyi;
26. Bare land at 17 McDonald, Ikoyi;
27. Twelve luxury flats on 2539.08 M.sq at 25 Probyn Road, Ikoyi;
28. Rooftop & Chimney disused Ijora Power Station at 18 Remi Kayode Street, GRA Ikeja; and
29. NEPA Children School Ikoyi, off Glover Road by Milverton Avenue.

Rivers State
1. Approximately 4,000 square metres at Plot X5 Nbiama Street old GRA, Port Harcourt;
2. Approximately 42,000 square meters off Aba Road, Eleme Junction, facing Elelenwo and Eleme Road;
3. Approximately 1.7 hectares of empty land at Obiakpo LGA Rumodomaya;
4. Approximately 4.362 sq. meters two abandoned property at Olu Obasanjo Road, Port Harcourt Rivers State.
5. One Bungalow, old but not dilapidated along Ordinance Junction Trans Amadi Industrial Layout;
6. Approximately 3, 800 square metres at Port Harcourt Main town, Forces Avenue Old GRA;
7. Moscow Office Building, Moscow Road; and
8. Two Bedroom semi detached Bungalow at Flat 57, Lagos Street, Port Harcourt.

Cross River
1. Approximately 51,000 square meters Property of empty land at NCC Road, Calabar; and
2. One Bungalow with boys quarters, Marine road Cala bar.

Akwa Ibom
1. Blocks of flats at Old Ring Road, Ikot Ekpene Road, Uyo; and
2. Two Bungalows located at Paul Bassey Street, Uyo.

Abia
1. The war Museum;
2. Ojukwu Bunker Umuahia; and
3. National Research Institute, Umudike.

Anambra
1. Four abandoned bungalows property at Nnewi, adjacent to Nnewi Central Police Station, Nnewi, Anambra State.

Edo State
1. Approximately 42oo square metres property located at GRA.

Enugu
1. Approximately 2.1867 hectares located at Museum Enugu-Abakaliki Expressway;
2. Empty land location 7809.759 square meters at ESBS Junction Area;
3. Abandoned Empty land Area 2.070 hectares abandoned opposite Liberty Estate;
4. Six flats in 2 storey property containing 3-bedroom flats with boys quarters, storage and garage at no. 1 Nwafia Close Independence Layout;
5. Block C Line Flat-1 at Artisan Junior quarters, Asata;
6. Two-bedroom flats dilapidated with wooden shutters at No. 5 Garden Avenue, GRA;
7. Zonal stores building office EEDC at Independence Layout;
8. Two plots of vacant land at Artisan quarters, Asata, near Junior Staff quarters; and
9. Empty land of 5247.263 square metres, at No. 3 Savage Crescent by Bishop Onyeabor Street, GRA Enugu.

Imo State
1. Uncompleted building, measuring 5.325.180 square meters at New Owerri Municipal Empty Land by National Identity Management Centre.
2. Abandoned empty property approximately 17.267.809 square meters at Achike Udenwa Avenue, Owerri Municipal;
3. Empty property approximately 3.535.657 square meters along Port Harcourt Road, OWerri, Imo State;
4. Empty property measuring about 21.878.504 square meters at Port Harcourt Road, OWerri, Imo State;
5. Empty property measuring about 6.263.405 square meters located at Shell Camp opposite Police Barracks, off Owerri-Orlu Road, Imo State.

Abuja
1. Hectares of land property located at GSM Village, Wuse Zone 1;

Delta State
1. Empty land approximately 8.7 hectares along Ugele Road;
2. Approximately 6.211 hectares along Sapele Road Express bye pass;
3. Empty land approximately 9.3 hectares located at Sapele, Warri, Delta State along express road;
4. Abandoned land approximately about 15.209.838 square metres located along new and old Ogorode, Sapele Township Road;
5. Approximately 3,900 square metres located at Sapele Township road, along New & Old Ogorode;
6. Approximately 1.101 square metres located at Sapele at Pontu Ethiope Waterside;
7. Approximately 1,604.837 square metres along Nnebisi Road, opposite Access Bank Asaba, Oshimili South Local Government Area, Delta State;
8. Approximately 5.328 square metres along Onicha Ugbo/Abuja;
9. Approximately 3.808.365 square metres located at Ogwashi-uku, NIPOST beside Central Motor Park, Ogwashi-uku, Aniocha South Local Government Area;
10. Empty land approximately 8.838 square metres Isele-uku, along Isele-uku road, off Asaba-Benin Expressway, along Aniocha North Local Government, Delta State; and
11. Empty land approximately 7.069 square metres along Anwai Road, Asaba Oshimili South Local Government Area, Delta State.
