Izuchukwu OkosiAnglo-Nigerian Arsenal and England forward Bukayo Saka was the star on Sunday evening as England recorded their second win of the qualifiers to the Euro 2024 tournament with a 2-0 victory over Ukraine at the Wembley stadium.
Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka were the scorers for the Three Lions with the latter producing a Man-of the-Match performance capped by a magnificent goal from the outside of the box.
Gareth Southgate’s side built on the foundation of their first away win against Italy (2-1) since 1961 with an efficient performance that was more than enough to see off the visitors.

England laboured to break down the Ukrainians until Harry Kane opened the goals account in the 55th minute when he bundled in Bukayo Saka’s cross at the far post eight minutes before half-time.
The second goal came barely three minutes later when teh Arsenal star received a pass from Jordan Henderson and curled a superb effort beyond the reach of Anatoliy Trubin and into the top corner.
Leicester City’s James Maddison made a good impression on his first England start while Brentford’s Ivan Toney won his first cap as a late substitute, captain Kane making way once there was never any serious danger of a Ukrainian comeback.
The next set of matches in the Euro 2024 qualifiers will be played in September with England.
