Rohr was sacked on Sunday by the Nigeria Football Federation which the president Amaju Pinnick explained was because of indiscipline and poor performance.

Rohr had qualified Nigeria for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations to be held in Cameroon in from January 9 to February 6 and laboured with his team to reach the playoff stages of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers which holds in March.

There was reportedly a video making the rounds in which three Super Eagles players were said to have organised a sex party on the eve of a crucial 2022 World Cup qualifier with an ace Nollywood actress inviting her colleagues in the industry to attend the party where hard drugs were available for all in attendance to use.

Rohr however in an interview with a Lagos based radio station stoutly debunked the allegation.

“My lawyers are working on it now. My contract is going until the end of next year, ” the Franco-German said about his severance package.

On the alleged sex party as posted by an Instagram user, Rohr insisted that the players were in their hotel rooms playing the PlayStation computer game.

“It’s shameful to make such allegations. The players are professionals.”

In a separate interview granted to a television channel, Pinnick commented on the issue of the sex party.

“We didn’t want to wait for a disaster to happen before parting ways,” Pinnick noted.

“Discipline in team was at its lowest ebb and once you remove discipline that foundation of the team, players will now talk about you, players will now believe that they are indispensable.

“A disaster was about to happen so we decided to take the bull by the horns.”

The three players named in the party scandal were Kelechi Iheanacho, Kenneth Omeruo and Chidozie Awaziem.
